Awhile back I posted about
Lowes Clearance Plant Racks.
Today I went and bought my first round of goodies. Just by looking at the pictures, you might be thinking. They're dead or dying!! Actually they aren't. Some are very dry from not being watered. Some have not had the spent flowers removed. They will all bounce back. There is still a lot of life in these pretty plants. The following 3 pictures are when we were loading the car at Lowe's.
Next pics are when I got home and show you how much they cost.......... drum roll please
So all-in-all I spent about $20 for all of these. Whereas, had I paid full price it would have been from $60 to $70.
In fact, when we were checking out, I pointed out to my husband a Calla Lilly plant that was selling full price for $18.98.
I paid $1 each for mine!
Here are some of them that I planted this afternoon. I just clipped the spent flowers and Whala !! Perfecto !! I will update you as these plants progress. As I am finishing typing this post, I just noticed I have a HUGE sunburn and just had a convo with the hubby about the difference between Sunblock and Sunscreen.

Hi Brenda, Thanks for your comment and concerns. I have been gardening since I was at least 12 years old with my father. He has several Horticulture Degrees and has taught me a lot. However, I can never keep learning more. ;-)
